Bullitt power will not be enough for a Mach 1. Expect upgrades to get it into the 500 club. That is going to cost $$$. I also think we are going to have an A10 so add that to the bill. Even so I agree that a loaded Mach should just about hit $60k. Not sure about the GT350. Not really the car I think a Mach 1 buyer is going to want. Different strokes. Unless they want both.
It's little more than a good tune and tweaked intake to get to 500. If the hood actually feeds air that probably gives it a little bit of a better top end. I'd love to see the GT500's better flowing heads and cams to allow a stock 8000 redline but I would be VERY shocked to find that.

I have a 19 GT Roush P2

But if the Mach 1 had a 500Hp 5.0/DCT I might trade mine in for one

That’s gonna be fast setup...
I’d expect bone stock 11.60@120+

Man, I was really looking forward to this car. I thought it might be the perfect final Mustang for me to upgrade to, likely right before the end of the generation as the turbos and EVs begin their takeover of the Mustang lineup...

... But those latest spyshots might be killing my dream. I think that ridiculously aggressive front splitter is going to make it quite difficult to get that car up the driveway to my office, heh. I'm already pushing it juuust a bit with my 2015 GT PP. I hope that's part of some optional aero package or something, but I tend to doubt it.

It's crazy, though. That looks even closer to the ground than the GT350.

I hope I'm misunderstanding, but are you saying you expect it to ONLY have an A10? That seems unlikely to me (and would be highly disappointing).

But yeah, I don't see the pricing for this car starting at much more than the Bullit, though it'll probably cross the $50K mark base. And I doubt there will be a ton of options or packages available on top.

Oh hell no, never. Unfortunately I am unable to own a manual due to health reasons but totally believe that there should be a choice. I think the car should have the A10 or a Tremec.

If they can hit 525/460 I think a lot of folks are going to jump onto the yea wagon. That would be a lot of go for under $60K.

By the way I absolutely love Emily Wickersham :inlove:.
The interior shots that I have seen show the white ball for rowing, and yes she is hot, would have made the 500 better if she came with it.

I don't see how they would pull that off. 5ft/lb increase and 500 RPM sure. Maybe even a cobrajet-like intake to help the far upper reaches of the rev range?

Remember this article?

Well, considering this "could" be the last hurrah for the 5.0 in a pure ICE Mustang I'm thinking cams & heads as well as intake & exhaust. That is also why I think we could be looking at $55-$60K. If Ford decides to go this route they may not be able to make enough. :please:

I think the A10 have proven itself so as to not need the DCT. That said I'd love to see it as an option. I wonder what it would cost? $2K-2.5K?
That’s the problem, if it’s 60k+ I’ll stick with my GT

5 grand easy and probably a lot closer to 8.

Ford Engineering strikes me as 'lazy' (or unimaginitive if you prefer) or it's the idiots in Marketing/Sales that kibosh any good thing the engineers are capable of doing. If the car is much more than a sticker kit while spending minimal effort recycling current existing parts I'll be very surprised. Tuning is "free", metal is not.

https://fordauthority.com/2020/06/2...orque-numbers-potentially-revealed-exclusive/ More news & numbers from Ford Authority. This new article will help some people to figure out yea or nay. :sunglasses::flag:
Depending what else they change, I am leaning on yea. Now add some coolers, clean up the drivetrain slop and add the GT350 front fenders and I am in. Would like to see the Tremac, but not a deal breaker for me. Also add the A10 as an option so no one feels left out.
