Dig-It, it looks like the list is sorted by the "chassis #" not the VIN, since the chassis # is listed first and is in ascending order and the VIN is not in order? Or am I missing something?
Thanks for doing this!!
Chassis # is the order the cars are built. VIN number are not related to the chassis number. Car can have a VIN for quite a while and be pushed back on entering production. Once the car starts production, it is assigned a chassis number.

The first column of numbers are the last four digits of each car’s VIN (the number used for registration and insurance). The second column is the GT500 chassis number assigned to the vehicle once production begins, like Jmeo stated. There are a number of reasons why the chassis sequences will be out of order and spaced apart.

It’s my pleasure!

That’s a cool number combo.

So was it worth the wait? Do you still have the GT350?

Post some pics when you can. Enjoy the new car!

Ok, then you have my #'s transposed in your list.
Chassis 0753
VIN M0972 - TennKid
Maybe I gave them to you in the wrong order.

No worries, we’re gonna get this right.

If “M0972” is on the cool looking GT500 Cobra plaque on your dashboard, that’s your chassis number. The 17-digit number with letters in it is your VIN. It is listed on your purchase order from the dealership and is also on your insurance statement. The last 8 digits should be something like M5500753.

Please let me know if this helps.

For the first drive YES! it was worth the wait. I do enjoy a manual but I can live without it.
The 350 went to a dealer that offered 60K. I was told trade in was 54. Still have lots of stuff to do, catch can, jacking rails and CAI. Will ceramic coat it this weekend since it's lower humidity.
Thanks!

Kevin (Dig-It), My Plaque on the dash is the chassis # of 0753 and my VIN is the ....M5500972. So, I think we're straight now. You just need to flip my #'s on your list. Thanks, Jeff
