2021 GT500: Manual Trans Option?

Tom, let me be clear that I did not choose the GT350 over a GT500 just for the third pedal but made the change for numerous reasons other than that.

I recall the discussion....

You are the only guy that I know of that walked away from an MSRP CFTP to have a GT350.

I had a deposit on a C8 Z51 and walked away because I’m just not ready to drive an automatic for my fun car. The GT350 has been a total blast and I don’t regret it. I do have a deposit on a C8 Z06 but I think I have at least 18-24 months to change my mind

If you recalled our discussion correctly you certainly should know that my decision to walk away from a CFTP car and over to a GT350R was not solely predicated on a DCT versus a manual transmission regardless of price.

As far as me being the only guy that you know who walked away from an MSRP CFTP optioned car for a GT350R, just curious what your point is?

I appreciate Harry for chiming in on this thread and wow has this thread turned a different direction. I simply was giving my experience/opinion of the 500 and it’s like I’m condemned for giving it. The 500 people seemed to butt hurt over what I said and what I said was taken completely out of context. I enjoy reading these forums but to be honest some people’s true colors really show in these forums.

I suggest that we are very fortunate to have another option which is the GT350/R which allows all of us Mustang enthusiasts two outstanding options.

Butt hurt. Thats a reach. If I thought the third pedal was a looser I would not be keeping 2 of the Rs in the stable.

You opened the door. It is being discussed. You don't like my opinion. Please hit the ignore button if you can't handle critism.

The only guy who i know of who sold his 500 because he didn't like (or want) a DCT and longed for a manual.

I think you missed the point I don’t value someone’s opinion who treats and comments like he does and maybe you don’t see it but I’d think you be blind not to see that.
