2021 GT500: Manual Trans Option?

Tom back to my civil comment earlier why can’t you have a decent conversation with someone. Are you like this in real life or just on the forums? If somebody doesn’t agree with the way you think they are wrong? No it’s just a difference in opinion.

I do it all the time. Go back and search my posts. This thread is nothing but a troll in a section of this forum that has no place. Come on, be real, you really think that Ford is going to offer up a 3rd pedal on the GT500 to satisfy a huge minority and sacrifice performance?

And then all the trolls show up.

Sorry, but this is just a bunch of trolls working the 500 section. My response is appropriate.

Of course it's not the people who have taken delivery that they need to appeal to in order to sell more. It's the people who chose not to buy one.

The DCT drives nicely, but I don't see any reason that the auto vs. manual tradeoff is different on the GT500 than any other mustang. There's a lot of cars out there with 2.6L TVS superchargers and manuals that represent a missed market for Ford.

Obviously, both Ford and GM disagree.

Harry that’s just a dig at you. I sense some jealousy on his part. His true color always comes out. I do appreciate your expertise and experience and so do most all members well except maybe one lol. At times I feel sorry for him maybe a New Years resolution for him would be to polite but that may be a bit too much for him.

Thanks I really struggled buying this car because it did not have a stick but the GT500 was always my dream car. I went back and forth between the 500 and the 350R so many times and almost walked away from the deal but had a deposit down. I may be the only one that feels this way and that’s okay. Hope you enjoy the car.

easy get both! i have both and they are a blast and each offers much different experience!

Fact 1. The GT500 is not getting a manual.

Fact 2. Just because something is a manual doesn’t mean it’s an slow track car, anyone remember the viper acr? I hear that was a fun little car. Just so happens it’s still the fastest American track car, oh and it’s a manual.

Fact 3. Manuals are more fun to drive most of the time.

Fact 4. The dct is an amazing transmission.
