I saw a GT500 in person at my dealership the other day and one thing I noticed was just how massive the exhaust tips are. They don't look big in pictures but wow I honestly never seen an exhaust tip that big
They are big and since they aren’t bright chrome they look just right . Not overly done.

"Thinking" of trimming this out with Red Pinstripes, Red Accent Cobra Emblems and Red Mirror Caps to match the Brake Calipers, Roll Bar and 5-Point Harness.

Either that, or get into the Carbon Fiber thing. Dunno, just thinkin'...

Then off to Matador91 (he's the best detailer in the Pacific Northwest) for Paint Correction, XPEL PPF and XPEL Ceramic Coating. Oh yea, and SLiPLO Scrape Guard is a must have.

Just a GT owner here and I have shadow black with matte black stripes and red pin stripes. So you would think I would be partial to it. However, the red Brembo's look great with that color combo and I wouldn't want to take away from that by adding more red. Just my opinion, but I would leave it the way it is as that is one beautiful and sinister looking machine!

I got ya’!

I am going with some minor red detail to the Cobra emblems and then off to the Detail Shop. No pinstripes. Still pondering between Red or Black roll cage and harness.

I am also planning on installing an Intercom/Radio System but do not want the funky antenna.

Thanks for the feedback!

Immediately I was thinking a red roll cage, but then I realized I was thinking of your 2020. Red inside the 2021 would look great, but then again, so would black. Can’t go wrong with either color.

Happy to hear you decided against the pin stripes.

Just arrived at my local Seattle Dealership today. CFTP with Black Penske Stripe. The metallic paint is pretty incredible, even covered in transport dirt. Color is much more striking in person than any photo I have seen.

Nice. Congrats.

Question, what is the reason for the option of having the roof painted black? I see it on silver mustangs too.

My 2021 GT500 CFTP in Carbonized Gray Metallic just returned from Benchmark Auto Salon post Paint Correction, complete XPEL PPF and Ceramic Coating. Matador91 is at the top of his game and highly recommended! I was able to retrieved the car within a brief no-rain window, so sun photos showing his handy-work will have to wait.

Ordered complete carbon fiber replacement parts from Ford Racing, Anderson Composites and Trufiber. Will take extended time to receive all parts, but it will look great when done. I am especially looking forward to the front splitter and rear diffuser, but pretty much all exterior composite will be replaced.

For now, I am focused on bedding the brakes, first oil change, and getting 1000 miles on the car (currently has 30 miles) in order to get it track-worthy for the summer. Unfortunately, I will be in Las Vegas through next week. On the upside, I will be at Barrett-Jackson with SA.

I am really liking the menacing and sinister Carbonized Gray Metallic color! The 2020 Rapid Red Metallic is a very beautiful head turner, but a little much for off-track city driving. Especially in my city where it tends to crave and bring both wanted and unwanted attention.

Cars look beautiful man.

Excuse the ignorance here. When you say you ordered all replacement carbon fibre parts - does each company make a full set of take offs? Or a part from each company?

Links by any chance?

Looking forward to the reviews.
