You guys seeing this elsewhere? It'll be interesting to see what the charge is for this option as I would assume Ford won't wanna upset CFTP buyers that paid the 18.5k price so that they could have fiber wheels (and a giant wing, RSD, etc). I'd venture to guess that the Carbon Handling option would also use the CFTP vehicle dynamics module calibration file as well. And SYNC4 and "over the air updates" look to be more invasive than ever before. Careful here Ford...

I will have essentially recreated that on mine (Signature Wheels instead of CF), but sure would have been nice to have that as a choice and keep the back seat! Good on Ford for recognizing the folks that want more handling than the "handling pack" provided.

Wonder if it will come with CFTP springs and sway bar.

It sounds like it would be the springs/struts/shocks, swaybar (larger diameter and thicker wall rear bar), CF wheels with Cup2's, all direct from the 2020 CFTP car. It would also make sense that it would get the CFTP's VDM calibration too as I mentioned. I know it's early but it looks as though it wouldn't get the CFTP's GT4 wing or RSD.

As for colors...
"New colors: Antimatter Blue, Carbonized Gray and Grabber Yelloware new for Mustang, Mustang GT and Shelby GT500."

My guess is a CFTP without the wing. My guess is around the $14k price tag. Who knows......

I was looking at this a couple days ago.

I wonder if the CFTP will still be available also?

I agree. They might tweak allocation numbers, but with the GT350R production at an end, it does open up CR to more capacity.

It doesn't bother me one bit as long as people keep their Sawzalls away from my wing mounts.

Still waiting to see a heist, Tob....

Interesting. I read this a few days ago in my google feed. I think Speed Phenom had reported on it...but it is interesting news that they will have a cfhp now for the 2021 cars.

I wonder what the price would be.

@shelbykr broke it here first. In fact, the kid from California showed the post here on M6G. I wonder why he doesn't post or make himself known here, lol

Hopefully you'll be waiting a long time. Sadly, wing ninja's are brutal and quick. May it never happen to anyone just trying to enjoy the finer things.

Even the layout of the CF on the exposed wheels isn't perfect...even on a Ford GT..I wonder if CR ended up with a bunch of visually imperfect wheels and someone came up with the idea that these should just get painted black ;)
