Good afternoon from Port Townsend, WA Zach, you come highly recommended from this site it seems! I've attached the two PDF build files from the Ford website for what I'm looking for.

In about a month, I’ll be ready to go ahead with an order, but I'm checking now to see if I would benefit cost wise buying from you at 4% (2% Mach1) under list vs a local dealer, despite being so far away out here on the west coast! I work for Delta, so I could fly into MSP (for free) and drive down.

My payment plan is 50% cash, 50% 36 month/0% finance. I am a veteran (I believe there’s a $500 incentive) and will have no trade in.

My purpose for the car is a two hour drive to work (Seatac Airport) and back home 4-5 times per month for three years (12K/yr) until I retire. At that point I plan to sell. so I’d like it to retain as much value as possible for a car with 36k miles. I do plan on going the PPF/Ceramic route to protect the paint...in fact I'd prefer to do that before driving it back to Washington State if possible.

I would need to swap out the Mach 1 summer tires for all seasons, obviously at my cost.

Other questions, is there no B & O stereo upgrade on the Mach 1 or the FJG paint option?

Thanks in advance!

I can tell you this, I've sent out a lot of quotes đź‘Ť

A lot of people are doing it to keep their local dealership honest. Which is absolutely fine with me. We're just here to help if it makes sense for everyone.

I look at any sale as plus business for us.

I am surprised any are successfully getting their dealers to budge. The most I have gotten any dealer to budge on price is $2,250 under MSRP. And that is a desperate really low volume dealer. When I talk about even invoice pricing I get laughed at. I must be a bad negotiator. Or cincinnati area dealers do not want my business at invoice pricing.

It's a simple supply-demand ratio. The lack of supply drives the dealerships to be confident on their price. It is what it is until the market gets to normal supply level.

Three dealers in Richmond have Mach 1's with $6K-$10K over msrp. One has a GT500 for $21K over. It's nuts!
