AWD plus FI doesnt add that much weight.
The horsepower number doesn’t reflect the fact that the GT500 will be mechanically capable of supporting E85. Don’t know if a tune will be required or Ford will provide PP or track key.

That's almost 20, correction, 30 years ago man!! And the F body chasis is flimsy in comparison. Honest truth is that all new cars are getting heavier. Even the all CF body GT350 only manages to save 200lbs or so over OEM.

I totally agree. Reddit, where misinformation flows as the truth. I bet the original poster was a teenage boy. I give it about a 1% chance of being true. Hell, I don't post... but had to for this one. I have two contacts at Ford . Both have varying degrees of information about the program/car...but neither are in the program. I'm just going to say from everything heard weight reduction was a priority. I'm just a dude that nobody knows on the internet so take it with a grain of salt. I post a lot on that blueoval board though.

If it happens to be that 1%, then unless its's priced like a GT350 it's DOA.
