HO...LY...S**T. This thread is an absolute disaster. I jumped on it to maybe get some info on the new GT500 I hadn't already heard and 585 posts later I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry over the absolutely asinine arguing I've read.
If you prefer an Ecoboost, GT350/R, GT, GT PP1, GT PP2, GT PP freaking 267, who cares? It's a car. I bought a 350 because it was a massive improvement over my '15 GT PP. extremely fun to drive, an extremely capable track car, and exactly what I wanted; not because of the Shelby name. I honestly don't care that it was $13K more expensive than the GT. Personally, I hate the look of the new 2018's, so the argument of spending less on a "just as fast car" is irrelevant because I don't enjoy the styling of the new 2018.
Some of us (not pointing any fingers) are arguing over things like age, and using unusual success at a young age as justification to be a dbag to people who don't agree with you. It's comical.
I'd love to see this thread go back to talking about the GT500 being a fat, slow, overpriced late bloomer over this.
