I’m sick of hearing cry babies saying the voodoo is “questionable”
Glad you sold it so we don’t have to hear your crying anymore.
You don’t have much in your life eh?

Why because so many people bitch about the voodoo

I’m not the one crying about oil consumption, rattles, vibrations etc.
No, because you initiate and/or take part in online arguments - seemingly every chance you get.

If someone doesn’t like the Voodoo engine - why would that bother you?

Anyway, you do you, I am just if the opinion that this forum would be better off if people like yourself stopped the contact angle hostile engagement. It’s a word board on the internet’s.

Go for a drive.

What I get is that you don't speak for anyone but your sorry self. I'm researching whether or not I'll get this GT500, but if it's anywhere near as fragile as that flat plane I may just get a tried and true Hellcat. They're just really fat.
You joined yesterday.
Don’t be calling people there sorry self.

I think this forum would be soooooo much better if we all just post when we have something relevant to the TOPIC. Too much personal animosity is DOMINATing the day. Just agree to disagree and move on. Most of us are here to learn and share, not watch an episode of Jerry Springer.

Again with the collective. Who are you speaking for? You two bed fellows have a heightened sense of yourselves.
Talking like that makes you look like a fool.

They're fun an very impressive in straight line with DR's but it's like being the captain of "The Love Boat" everywhere else. I had an A8. Comfortable but boring for 90% of driving. Do I miss it? No. If you got kids and 10 dead bodies to stuff in the trunk to haul around then it's a great car. Dodge waters down the model by planting the HC hood on just about everything in the sub group line up now. Rowing a Voodoo is far more rewarding. But that's an opinion.

As far as the CR being 9.5 to1 it might be a built in safeguard since most will probably opt to go with an open CAI, pulley down(adding boost), tune and possibly headers....The last thing Ford needs after waiting 6 years to produce this car is people b!tching because their lightly modded motor threw a rod or something....
Youre not allowed to say that, according to some who it seems you have already met, the GT500 must remain completely stock, and especially never be used for drag racing or any head to head or straight line performance :)

But yes, boosted factory cars are normally lower CR, especially if port injection. it allows for better 93/91 octane longevity. side benefit is throwing more boost at it by us

Who the hell is we? You speaking for a group of people? Anyway, you can be sick of hearing anything you want but it sounds to me like you take it as a threat. Feeling vulnerable are we?

all in all, 12psi 5.0l 12.1 cr on 93 octane with a 2650 blower, should make the same as a 5.2 9.5cr 5.2l with 93 octane.
You might be right but I strongly suspect the limiting factor is and always has been the 93 octane. In other words, the benefits of the blowers and comp ratios are significantly watered down by virtue of the fuel choice.

So I watched RPM's Dyno video of the 2019 ZR1, ince they can tune it now. I hit up Fran and asked, since he SAID, it makes 15psi stock.

Can we confirm that the GT500, at least initially was rated at 700hp+ with 12 psi?

because the ZR1 has a 6.2, with 15psi from the 2650, on 93 octane, rated at 755chp, and lays down about 664rwhp. **edit 10.1 ratio

So i doubt the 93 octane is that much of a limitation on 9.5.1 cr

What’re you trying to determine? Or just comparisons?

If the GT500 makes more than the corvette, then something is funny.

It’s possible the base predator without the blow makes 480-500hp, where I bet the zr1 engine without the blower is good for 420-440

Amazing car. Ford's entry into the my dog is bigger than your dog 700+ HP party.
ZR1, Hellcat, Demon, Shelby 500. I have seen guys drive off the lots with these
ego boosters and trade them after 800 miles. If you have to have it, OK, but be careful.
