One of many mistakes that will probably be found.
Anyone notice the Base model tires are now listed as 295 front and 305 rear? (Page 32)
Are you saying the base does in fact come with 305 fronts and 315 rears? I hope you're right! One of many mistakes that will probably be found.
Chuck, You said SD cards earlier, not USB flash drives, hence the confusion.Yes, I have 5 of them with a combination of around 400+ songs. A Big Thank You goes out to you and others. As I've said before you guys are great!!!!!!!
Yes, that's a fact. It's printed on your Vehicle Order Confirmation. Are you saying the base does in fact come with 305 fronts and 315 rears? I hope you're right!
PTWA has been in Mustangs since the 2011 Shelby GT500, technically even earlier in the 2009 Nissan GT-R and is proven tech.> Forged-aluminum pistons and forged-steel I-beam connecting rods
Cryo-treat? Fractured? How about a material reference like 4340 Chromoly?
> Precise boring in the aluminum engine block
I wonder if they went back and figured out how to unstress the block so they don't end up with ovalized bores upon assembly. (cue, the Voodoo high oil use problem)
> PTWA liner provides an approximate 8.5-lb. weight savings over typical iron-sleeved aluminum block
I seriously question if such a weight savings is worth the huge expense and "unreliability" of the resulting bores when the tried and true solution has worked and worked plenty well enough at scale. What's the $/gram I wonder.
> With the Carbon Fiber Track Pack added, ... 550 pounds of rear downforce at 180 mph
> The 'handling package' "swing" yields 379 pounds of rear downforce at 180 mph
How about at more sane speeds of 50, 80, and 130 which is what you see on a road course?
By comparison the 911 GT2RS generates 992lbs at approx same speeds whereas the 'plain' GT2 is somewhere under 500.
> If the engine overheats, it will switch from normal all-cylinder operation to alternating-cylinder operation
Why not do this during light throttle loads (eg. cruise control) to save gas? Granted they would need to not repeat GM's "trans shudder".defect.
> 3.73:1 rear-axle ratio
that's going to make it difficult to get the power down, me thinks.
> Adjustable shock mounts only with CFTP
Good grief, they are only about $400 a pair. Should be standard across the entire Shelby lineup.
> 251 lbs./in. front and 914 lbs./in. rear spring rates
The front seems low to me with all that weight.
when done by people who are not Ford, apparently.PTWA has been in Mustangs since the 2011 Shelby GT500, technically even earlier in the 2009 Nissan GT-R and is proven tech.
Yes. There’s one for every Ford vehicle produced in North America, every model year. Was there such an esourcebook document for the MY19 GT350?
Got a copy/link?Yes. There’s one for every Ford vehicle produced in North America, every model year.
Isn't that just this (same as GT350)?I finally managed to get through the esourcebook and learned a few things. But one statement caught my eye and I couldn't figure out if it was a mistake or that I was missing something since the car does not have an option for a HUD.
Here's the section from the book with the statement highlighted.
Any ideas?
Yes, the shift light can project onto the window and has multiple configurable modes. The GT350's have had this feature since introduction.Mr. Bill: Thanks for the post and the info. But the car in the video isn't a 2020MY as it has the old double tach and speedo, not the 12" LCD. But aside from that, am I to believe that the "shift light" is in fact projected on the windshield much like the "emergency stop row of red lights" in my '18 F250? If so, I like the idea a lot although I was very much hoping for a GM-style HUD.
