I was on a Mustang cruise with others and developed a problem with my suspension. My magneride suspension was disabled and the car was computer limited on speed. I was filming at the time of the problem, which I show as well as the trip to the dealer for warranty work. The video finishes with a "spirited" test drive with my service advisor!

should have cut off the plastic shock 'band' while you were in there. So basically zero determination of problem - just swap parts and call it good...

Not sure what you mean here...?
there was a ~1/2" wide band that went over the first part of the bump stop, should have cut it off on both sides.

Haven’t heard of this. Got a picture of this band? Why does it need to be removed?

5:38 in your own video. It's handing cock-eyed on the bump stop.

Ahhh, that is part of the magneride shock, not to be cut off. I thought you were talking about something else.

Skip to 19:34 here and you’ll see what I’m talking about:

no it's part of the bump stop every S550 has it regardless of trim and suspension. It dramatically worsens bump absorption should your shock stroke get that far into the range.

I’ve hit some good bumps, at speed. It’s not an issue. I would not cut off what the engineers developed for this car. It’s a well engineered package.
