Only 33 got handling pack without the technology pack. Which makes total sense. Most people want the tech package also.

Mine was twister orange no stripes black roof and handling package, but I sold it last fall for a ‘21 Mach 1.

Yea, because of the red pin stripes on the side of the racing stripes that Rs get. They got in that design conference meeting and they weren't having red on red (&orange) stripes.

My brain says it knew this at one point but the information was ejected, at least for the Race Red cars

It's fun to have a very low produced color - I'm a little surprised at the number of silver Rs, I thought there would be fewer based on what I've seen out there. I don't think a silver R has crossed BaT yet.
@corrieb had 31 silver on this spreadsheet, so I guess it makes sense. You can use a combo of this spreadsheet and the FP numbers to get an idea of how many other cars there are like yours.

Ok here goes…

Ordered and received my twister orange black roof no stripes 2020 GT350 in late October of 2019, early build #0097.
Immediately Put it away for the winter.
April ‘20 take it out and start driving it, breaking it in.
May ‘20 out to dinner with the wife, car starts shaking and metal on metal sound, smoke coming out of the hood. Towed to the dealer, next day diagnosis dropped a valve cylinder 8. Car has 536 miles.

Four weeks later, new motor, new cats, oil cooler and lines, alignment, and an 8 year Ford powertrain warranty.
Dealer says costs to ford under warranty almost $40,000 of which motor was $27,000.

I then proceeded to open track the car almost 20 days over the next 3 years at tracks such as Watkins Glen, gingerman, Charlotte motor speedway, road America, etc.
wound the hell of it and the car absolutely shined at the high rpms. The handling, the tremec, sport cup 2’s, all working together in one of the best balanced mustangs I’ve ever had.
Motor was rock solid and never used a drop of oil. Recaro seats were very comfortable and worked great with my Watson 4 point roll bar and harness belts, along with my helmet and HANS device.
I honestly have no regrets owning it, but also have no regrets in selling it last fall with 17,000 miles for what I paid for it back in October of 2019.

I didn’t get that confident feeling of owning it long term.

I therefore picked up a 2021 Mach 1 handling package car last summer. Plans are similar, roll bar, seat delete, etc and already have some track dates set up for this summer.
Main reason for buying was the reliability of the 5.0
Yes I give up some rpm’s of the FPC, and a little bit of horsepower, but the handling package of the Mach 1 is Similar to the outgoing 350, so I’m looking forward to being able to compare it.

Yeah, I get wanting something new if you are going to be tracking it. I wont be tracking mine, not seriously anyway. I just enjoy the engine sound, running errands, gunning it on the freeway ramps, gazing at it in my garage….mine did come with the ford oil separators already installed and the handling pack items, thought about installing the adjustable strut mounts, however these arent really necessary unless i track the car?

Velocity Blue - 12 had painted roofs. 46 w the comfy seats. Handling with Tech 27.

True lol. I am pretty happy with the low number though, will be good long term for the 2020s value. Especially considering a DH is now over 70k and not nearly as interesting of a car.
