What day are we coordinating a mass phone call to Ford Performance?
I'm in. Lets pick a date and seriously do it. Also lets post on Ford Performance social media pages. #releasethedamnnumbers

Here is the updated production numbers, Total Numbers as well as Heritage Edition modesl I received this morning from my contact at Ford Performance, Information Center Supervisor. Reference screenshots uploaded.
*As stated in the email, this isn't an Official Ford Performance release as they are finalizing and verifying their numbers with colors and specific options for a Q1 release date.

535 Heritage GT350s. That's a decently low #. Less than the GNX. And it's only 254 more than the HE Rs. Not so bad if you like the car and can hold it for 20+ years in clean condition. Unfortunately, mine will probably have about 50k miles on it by then. All good though.

Anyone who buys a Heritage Edition GT350 as an investment is a fool.

Lots of opinions out there. One actual fact is - other than very specific cars, traditional investments have yielded higher returns than cars over 20 years.

That said, I don't agree that we know enough about the future to call someone a fool for calling a car an investment at this point. Joke could be on you.

As an owner of a not very special GT350, a big appreciation on the special models helps me. So I hope the joke is on me.

Just a long way of saying, we are in strange times.

Well, "fool" is a strong word. Car investments are an interesting thing. I had 2 GNXs, bought them for a good time and to have a cool car. I sold them for a profit of about 25k ea. If I held on, that would have been a 125k each profit. The thing is, holding on to a car that long can be a lot of work, and it isn't free necessarily. Storage maintenance, insurance, and work. I passed on buying a Ford GT in 2005. 150k then, 400k now. That's a good investment. But even if I did buy it, holding it for 18 would have been quite a chore and cost a lot of energy. Too busy living other dreams.

To your point, it can be foolish, but it's not always the case. I do envy the people with a large warehouse, barn, or garage who can just hold them. I'm not that guy. To each their own. My GT350 HE is for pleasure. Hopefully it's worth something for my kids someday or for when I'm old and gray.

I said only buying a GT350 would be foolish. This was not a blanket statement.

Aaron - Can you reach out to your Ford Performance contact and ask for an update for when the build breakdown will be officially released, and certificates available?

Ironic that the heritage models will probably be the most produced combinations
