I was just on the ford site configuring a 2020 Mustang GT with a performance package 2. I was initially interested in seeing what Rapid Red looked like. As I was looking at the wheel and tire options I noticed that 265/40R19 front and 275/40R19 rear were selected. No option for the 305/30R19 were available.

Did they change the tires in the PP2?

The 275/40 are 1.5" in diameter larger than the 305/30 but will fit over the rims better(not buldging over).

I wonder how they will perform and if they are still Cup 2 Tires or some other all season or Summer only tire that is more streetable?

That's just an issue with the configutor. 305/30/19 squared would still be applicable for PP2.

It shows different size tires there too. Is it possible they changed them? Everything else is correct for a PP2

I ran the 2020 PP Level 2 package and noticed the same thing....I just figured it was a screw up with the configuator. The development of the PP Level 2 was specific to the Michelin Cup 2 tires, so I can't imagine a change.

The 305/30 is not a standalone option, so you don't see it as an option in the first screen you showed. It's part of the PP2 package and shows up there instead, as in the order guide Silver Bullitt posted.

Says right on it that those size tires are not available on Performance Package 2. I think that answers your question

In both build cases, I selected the PP2 package first. When I run the 2019 and select PP2 I do see the tires listed on the left and on the summary screen (under Exterior options).

been saying that since the 2018s were configurable on the calculator. still comes with the 305/30 SC2s. @Silver Bullitt doc is absolutely correct.

I can understand the builder webpage might not have worked in the past but they have the 2019 page working correctly. I question if the software developers did not reuse the 2019 page and tweak it for 2020. Why break something that is working? The 2019 Build page works correctly.

Is there some particular reason you're so fixated on this?
