I have been trying to figure out how the Mustang EcoBoost weight distribution went from 52/48 in 2015-2019 to 53/47 in 2020. Well, Apparently The Mustang has gained a whooping 500 pounds, apparently all in the ass end since there was no weight change over the front wheels on the EB/HPP according to Ford. So how in the hell did the Mustang gain 500 pounds? The 2015 EB Auto is 3650 and the 2020 EB Auto is 4155?

I don't see how that could happen. My loaded premium with a supercharger doesn't weigh as much as the Claimed weight of a base 2020 GT. Unless the rumors of AWD and hybrid tech are true.

Every publication I have read on the EB/HPP has a 53/47 weight distribution which is obviously based on incorrect specs from Ford. Not a single so called "car enthusiast" publication has questioned the change in weight distribution for the EB/HPP despite a 5 year history of 52/48 or the 500lbs weight gain for the GT/EB.
