2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 1

Is there anyone that has been rescheduled, that is not in the week of 11/11? It's a bit weird to me that we are all being placed in the same week.

I'm wondering if this is when Ford expects to have the issue(s) resolved and we will all be scheduled to our actual build day from that point forward.

Ill call again tomorrow, but as of Monday im at 10/21

What's the point of the (useless) datapoints? Ford guessed early on, got updated info and re-guessed, got more updated info and re-guessed again. Now they are staring holidays and plant shut-down schedules in the face. Why does this matter a hill of beans?

$20 says not a single customer car gets built before 11/25 (maybe 50 cars before 12/30) and likely they all get pushed to after the new year. Meanwhile engines and special paint job bodies stack up in the warehouse.

Might want to use a Google Docs spreadsheet to coalesce the data.

I sent Snoop an update, but somethings amiss at FRAP.
My VIN is 0195. Was originally 23 Sep production date. Last Friday, my car was slipped from 8 Oct to 23 Oct.
Today, was slipped to week of 2 Dec! Confirmed by Noah and a VVR from the dealer.
Noah said most were slipped but he didn’t have any other info. Bummer...

I got an email from my dealer this afternoon:

Hi Mel,
No movement on your new GT500 yet. Ford has shut down production until next year.

I don't know if he means this literally or just in reference to my order.

I checked yesterday and I’m still holding with my original date of the magical week of 11/11. Pretty sure that Flat Rock is only building GT500’s this week. Wish I could set up shop in there and have happy hour every day and watch them built with a few cold ones.

It looks like the plant will close for 11/5, 11/11, 11/21 & 11/22 and Christmas & New Year from 12/24 to 01/01 and return to work on 01/02. Assuming there isn't a change with the new UAW contract.
