I think someone already posted the re-opening story. The just of it was that flat rock was not on the list.
I see they are still releasing cars, is there still a chance mine could be released during this mess before the plant reopens?Status Updates:
Congratulations Drew and Brownchristian
@SuperSnake427 - Shipped Rail
@Brownchristian - Released - Awaiting Shipment
Earl: With that build date, I'd say Mr. Kuwait knew someone pretty high up.this car was built 09/09/2019 and just got delivered to its owner.
Hard to say, David, but I expect it's possible...is there still a chance mine could be released during this mess before the plant reopens?
Only 500 plus some miles away- oh, no is that someone coughing and taking a break in front seat?Waiting for painted stripes? Here’s an image of Penske plant! No doubt old but almost can see stripes! Interesting that whatever these cars are or we’re using some type of cover. But looking at something long enough everything starts looking like a nativity scene!
KB,As i believe "Meatloaf" sang,
"Two out of three ain't bad."
Let's hope shipping resumes as soon as humanly possible..
I called my dealer after I had a VIN and they were able to add side stripes for me. Might check with your dealer on this one.That’s at select plants, which Flat Rock wasn’t listed.
Dumb question, but after getting a VIN, is it too late to add the handling package? I know package that are captured by the VIN (Engine/trim changes etc) are a no go but wasn’t sure about other options.
I would honestly be shocked if it happened in April at this point. I saw GM announced production is suspended indefinitely for the moment, they are laying off some salary employees and cut the remain ones pay by 20%. Ford is forcing salaried vacation the week of April 6.It looks like Flat Rock will re-open on April 20th, unless the politicians get crazy and decide otherwise, what are the chances that will happen?
