It can go by truck to a nearby railyrard (Shipped from Plant) or it can go Shipped Rail, it just depends on how backed up the railyard at Flat Rock is.

My footprint from "produced" to today has had my car outside now for almost 2 months. It has been sent to Penske, shipped back to Ford, rejected, and sent back to Penske. The latest piece of the puzzle is someone shipped it away from Flat Rock, possibly over to New Boston, where it sits.
Isn't it great how Ford treats its customers? A $107,000 mustang and they either have no idea where it is or don't care. I've said it before, why would I ever buy anything from FP again?

Normally it means that it is being inspected. All the car are in production until they are released for shipment, but sometimes cars that are released for shipment are pulled back in to production for inspections. In production means that it is at the plant and has not been released for shipment.
The one you really need to be afraid of is "shipped from plant". That seem like its nice, but.....
