2016 Shelby GT350, 2017 Ford Focus ST, On Order 2020 CTFP Shelby GT 500 with POTTS. Car is released and awaiting shipment. I am running out of time before having to leave for Japan on July 29th.
Here is a picture of what my car looks like right now. I am still waiting for march.

I tried to not look, but couldn't help myself.

I do not have the rail car number. Both FP and my dealer say they do not have it. (?I can't check on CSX? ). The above was from monitoring the Firefox Browser / information look up link.

She should be unloaded this week in The Birmingham Rail Yard for her one hour truck ride to the dealer. I am already in Destin and will just have to wait to meet her after the NewYear.

Thanks been waiting a long time to see dancing baby. Does that mean the stripes have been put on already, and the car was released by ford for shipment?

For those of you who will have your cars shipped by rail.
CSX is everything east of the Mississippi
UP is everything west of the Mississippi
But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

This was the change over with my 2013 going to CA.
Arrived at Junction Point (Canadian National Railways), Gibson, IN (01/19/2013, 07:33 EST)
Received at Junction Point (Union Pacific Railroad), Argo, IL (01/20/2013, 23:35 CST)
Passing (Union Pacific Railroad), Argo, IL (01/21/2013, 05:05 CST)

For you guys that want to stay up all night tracking your car once it is in a railcar. Make sure you follow the instructions to the letter. Do NOT talk to any human.

It worked!!! I'm successfully tracking my car via the rail system. Thanks for the info guys! My car is currently in Gibson, IN. It's traveled about 400 miles so far. ;)

Hi George, I first tried the FP hotline, but nobody answered. I then convinced my dealer to send the Full History Vehicle Visibility Report. The rail car number was on it, even tho my dealer contact told me it wasn't. lol!

My dealer told me by email he didnt have it.... I just stayed on the phone with him and he said he had to go further down and he DID have it.

It means the car has been released from the plant (completed) and has been received by the shipper, next step is Shipped by Rail.

Thanks Earl, that's better news then I thought. The dealer had no idea. Just wondering if the car was produced on 12/17 how did it get stripes so fast? I thought there was a back up at the mod shop.

Earl - Thank you for this unexpected update. It's truly remarkable the amount of effort you have put in to keep us all informed of our car's progress. Without you, I wouldn't have a clue about where my car is in the process. It's rare today to find someone who is willing to go out of their way to help others and you, my friend have done exactly that. I won't soon forget what you have done on your own time to help all of us. Merry Christmas to you and your family!!

It appears the someone is still working in the Mod Shop, I have found many cars that were listed as Produced Friday and are now listed as Released or Received today. 23 Released and 17 Received Awaiting Shipment.
Ford really seems to be trying to get as many cars as possible released and hopefully shipped by the end of the year.
