Earl: I couldn't wait to hear from my dealer so decided to bother FPR again. To my surprise, I didn't move as much as I thought I would.

Previous build date: 10/24
Current build date: 10/29

Yikes that doesn’t bode well for me at 0785. If memory serves that is the last week of production before the winter shutdown.

I had a build day originally but I've since been pushed back 3 times now.

Im VIN 0723

I had a build week of 10/07, then a build day of 10/09, then got pushed back to 10/14, then 10/28 when I had called last week and I just called today and now Im pushed to 11/11 :( Im starting to really get worried! This sure is pushing it close to when they shut down the production of these cars. I don't want my car sitting on a lot all winter in the snow!

I went through the exact same bump time frame!!, except the 11/11. As of Friday I was still holding the 10/28 week 10/30 day. I’ll call again Friday to see if I’m holding on.

VIN 930
Original week of 10/28
Moved to 11/4
Now moved to 11/11

The way this is going, it's going to be a real problem getting this car from Iowa back to Michigan the middle of December assuming it even gets built....using a carrier can be difficult this time of year. Another push back will make it even more challenging. And I really don't want it sitting out on a lot in Flat Rock for the winter. Especially since FRAP is only 20 min away from me! Ford really sucks at planning it seems.....Ordered an Explorer ST in May and scheduled for June 26 build and guess what....I still don't have it!!!! Yep...sitting at FRAP like thousands of others waiting to be inspected. I've given up on the Explorer. Don't want it now.

I called Friday last week and was still 10/28, I called today and got pushed back. I only called because I saw others were calling and reporting they were pushed back which unfortunately I was too. I sure hope Ford gets our cars to us this year. Im curious if you are pushed back as well.

im betting they do as well. Ift hey do not. Im flipping shit on all public media outlets, regardless of how fantastic the car is, even as much as i like the people. It would be bullshit by Ford to do so

I have seen a lot of Factory cars being built, but no Dealer orders. Hopefully that will change shortly. I was told that one is in production, but I have not been able to confirm, so I am treating it as a rumor.

Sorry Voodoo, I respect you a lot but get prepared for the YT guys to not slip and get the cars before guys who had the orders in earlier, had earlier vins and earlier build dates.

None of it will matter, they want those guys posting all the good stuff on YT.

I just wonder when production will actually start and what is going to happen to those that had November build dates originally at the time when guys like me still had an early October date. Im curious if some will get pushed into the spring production run.

Max: I imagine that thought is on a lot of minds right now. I'm worried for sure with a 10/29 day build so I truly feel for those with even later dates. Frankly, with this much pushing, I don't see how they can build the number of GT-500's that they originally planned on building before shutdown.

I agree it sure would be nice to see our dates being pushed forward instead of back... Hopefully that will happen as we get closer...
