Jaime: I've been wondering about that very thing since the day I ordered. I've heard nothing about who's producing them or where they're made. I suppose they could differentiate the cover needed for each car by the VIN but then that would require a much greater static inventory so I'm guessing the covers are stretchy and can handle the big or small wing.
That is my understanding as well. It’s gonna be a few months for me to find out but I look forward to the posters of the early deliveries to find these kinda things out.

Covercraft is the OEM manufacturer for the car covers for Ford. The car covers are special made for Ford and are the only ones using this material. If you want a genuine 2020 GT500 car cover, order it with the car. I will be going with the Covercraft Noah cover because I have a cat that has decided my 2013 is a cat perch and short of selling him to a Chinese restaurant, the Noah cover does a good job of protecting my car from damage.
I am a huge advocate of Covercraft car covers but after ordering Ford OEM Covercraft car covers from Ford for my 2012/2013 Boss 302's and my 2015 GT350 and subsequent 2016 to 2018 R models I would never order another OEM Covercraft car cover from Ford again and in fact I sold my 2015 GT350 OEM Covercraft car cover to a well known member on this forum for a much reduced price based on the feel and look of the OEM car cover.

Having said that I would really recommend a Covercraft Custom Form-Fit car cover if you are looking for an indoor car cover as it is super soft, custom fit and has Spandex built into the yarn therefore it pampers the paint and follows the contour of the body of the GT500 and comes in 6 different colors.

Certainly the best in door car cover that I have ever owned and recommend it very highly!!!

Snoopy49, thank you so much for taking the time and posting this in one place.

I just got my DORA. I ordered on 8/29, so looking like Feb or March 2020 ?

Looking forward to seeing the 1st delivered GT!

Why does this remind m elf the GT500 hood??? Something you are....hiding under that cover?

Agreed, CoverCraft is better. I just want the one from Ford for the looks as I will only use it in doors, in my garage for the winter. Plenty good enough for me.

What is the general build per model year in terms of fall vs spring? Are most (mustangs, GT350's) built in the spring vs the fall? Is getting a GT350/GT500 less likely in the fall based purely on fall capacity? Or does it matter? And generally speaking when do spring cars start showing up?

If your car has been scheduled for production, please post date, last 4 numbers of VIN and State where the car was ordered.

I figured it would be a lot easier to track the scheduled GT500's if they were all in one thread.

Good luck to all.

I don't see a date change on mine, but the link that used to have just some basic data now has pages of detailed info about the car:
https://shop.ford.com/aemservices/shop/vot/api/customerorder/?partAttributes=BP2_.*&vin= (Plug in your VIN here)
When I add my VIN to the link I get what appears to be a raw data dump on the build, I know its mine as my name is in the customer field. If I do a print screen there is 5.5 pages of data, and I saw glimpses of the option/fetures for my car, now to go throug line by line and see if there is any new info available, like 0-60 :)

Update- Just called Ford Performance! My build was scheduled the week of 10/07, and as of today it was changed to an Exact date of 10/09. So I now know my car will be manufactured on said date according to the Ford Performance rep. Also happy its a Wednesday car as Johnny Cash would say! :giggle:

What is priority code 20 on the build sheet?
Priority 20 if I’m not mistaken to “dealer inventory” meaning the lowest of priority. Did you buy a dealer order or custom order?
Regardless the Ford Performance Rep has say of when order is actually submitted regardless of priority code. I had a 19 code but I’m sure with my build date of 10/7 I’m in front of others with a better code.

What is priority code 20 on the build sheet?
That's normally a priority number a dealer assigns for a stock order. The best priority a dealer can assign is 10. Then the District Reps can lower further. Once it's pulled for production, it has reached Priority 1.
