Adjustable strut mounts/Handling package:

Not to fan the flames too much, but I wanted to follow up on this thread a bit. My dealer's part guy shipped me what he thought might be the adjustable strut mount package for my car, but after receiving yesterday, I'm not sure it's correct. I think Earl had indicated the correct part number should be KR3Z-3D008A but as you can see from the picture the one I was shipped is KR3J 3D122 AA and it looks to have been ordered/shipped to the dealership back in June 2019 well before I had ordered my ride. I think I had seen in a posted picture in this forum that someone else had been given this same part number (3D122 AA) by their dealer for their handling package? Just wondering what's correct. The mystery deepens possibly.

@Bangarang,

Came in on the middle of this....Is there a known paddle shifter defect or is it your car specific?
Several members saw a small scratch/defect on the top of the left paddle shifter. Has to be a manufacture defect as they’ve all been in the same spot. It’s not a huge glaring defect by any means though.

Jeff: Yes, I believe there is/was an issue with tool markings on the left side and a couple photos have been posted but I don't know what the current status is. For sure I will be checking my paddle when the new girl arrives.

This is the thread with the few postings on the subject.

@Bangarang, @kilobravo,

Thank you. Will have to check mine out the next time I peel off the cover and listen to that fine-ass cold start-up tune.

KB- congrats on your car finally shipping.

Earl- as always, you are the best.

Earl: I used George's directions to contact CSX after getting the rail car number off a current VVR.

The phone routine went smoothly and it worked as advertised EXCEPT...

It said that car number was in Miraloma, CA...empty...and "released by the customer."

As I recall, George had a similar experience so any inside scoop you may have would be appreciated.

George said that it did not always return the correct information and that you may have to try it more than once until you got the correct information. He figured it was a server problem.

The part number on the label may be an internal P/N used by Ford. The VIN is for a 2019 GT350R. So someone with a 19 GT350R is missing a part. I just goes to show you the level of communications between sales and parts.

Thanks

The box they gave me has the same part number on the outside, but the actual part has this tag on it.

I would assume that the drivers side had a different part number?
Did it come with the 4 bolts and nuts? Were there any instructions?
Thanks for posting the picture.

I don’t have my hands on the box yet. But here’s more pictures of the hardware. I’ll ask them to send me a pix of the instructions, if any.
