Makes me wonder if they're going to pull a full GT350 and have a super limited 2019 or 2020 year model run to get the car out there for testing/review before the "official" production run starts; more or less like they did in 2015 with the GT350.
Well that's one way the GT350 and GT500 could be available at the same time. Unless they plan for the GT350 to be available again in 2020.

They'll still be allocated as with '18 and '19 GT350's. You won't be able to just go into a dealership and get one. So "official" production run, even in quotes is senseless. This is no different than previous GT500's as well. Sometimes they were up, sometimes down as well.

With an official reveal date what does that mean in terms of securing one, ordering one, putting a deposit on one? My dealer seems kinda wishy washy about the hole deal as i have shown great interest but no action has been done. Albeit I don't have a strong relationship with them, but have told them i want the first one they get. When should i press , and when can they 'officially' take my deposit/order/etc. I know every dealer works different but in general....

They can "officially" take a deposit whenever they like. The fact that they are reluctant to tell you that they will sell you one is due to 1 - they don't know if they will get any and 2 - they know they want to make as much as possible from someone willing to pay an ADM.

I like to disassemble things.
I did a quick side by side. Note how the ribbing has changed on the side of the upper plenum.
I think I liked the cast snake better as much as it wasn't finished. Already talked to George at MGW about a laser burned plate to replace what Ford looks to be doing...

Notice the width of the finished product is wider by a good margin.
