MY FORD DEALER JUST TOLD ME MY 2020 ORDER WAS CANCELLED BY FORD. THEY WERE SUSPENDING 2020 GT500 AND MOVINIG TO 2021 PRODUCTION. I ORDERED THE CAR 10 MONTHS AGO. IT WAS SCHEDULED TO GO INTO PRODUCTION JUST AS THE PLANTS SHUT DOWN. I FEEL LIKE THEY SOLD MY ALLOCATION TO SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE FORD JUST DONEST DO THAT. HAS ANYONE HEARD THIS SAME NEWS.

The exact same thing happened to me and I had the same feeling you had. I think my dealer sold his allocation to another dealer for a quick buck and figured he had me on his hook for a 2021. I cancelled and had to hire a lawyer to get my deposit back. This whole order/allocation process makes no sense to me. As a consumer a Ford dealer is a Ford dealer..you buy something in good faith, and put a sizable deposit down-and you expect to have your product delivered...simple as that. As a consumer you are oblivious to Ford and the inter dealings they have with dealers. You as a consumer are caught in the middles of lies , greed and deceit. I have been a Ford guy for 30 years. I will never own another Ford product again.
