HEY SNOOPY LETS DO A MATH EXERCISE ON POST 72 THERE WERE ABOUT 800 CARS AWAITING VIN. (I ASSUME THESE ARE THE CLEAN CARS) ADD TO THAT THE UNPRODUCED/MATERIAL HOLDCCARS , THEN ADD THE NUMBER ASSIGNED VIN BUT NOT PRODUCED AND LASTLY ADD THE NUMBER OF PRODUCED CARS. Lets hope that number is still under 5000. i would hope Ford would stop taking orders when allocations are gone and not be taking orders on cars without allocation. thankyou for all your good work which helps me sleep at night to some extent

I have no way of knowing how many cars are in the Order Bank (Unscheduled), there could be 10,000. As far as the number of VIN's issued, there are 2206 VINs.

if there are 10,000 in the order bank (I understand it may only be a guess), there will be a lot of tears, We dont really have a way to validate the authenticity of our order or if the order banks are full. Maybe it is just my paranoia.

The only people that know how many orders are in the order bank, are the people that manage the order bank. I am not one of those people.

Snoopy What Chassis number are they on now 2-16-20? Mine is scheduled for 4-6-20. How many do you think they will build between now and 4-6? My VIN is 1919.

There is no transparent rhyme or reason. The selection committee selects cars based upon whatever they are looking for at that time.

Gee that’s great to hear and I’m patient but at the same time hearing this just makes you feel like an idiot thinking your someone special. I mean I buy like 15 new Ford products in 2-3 years and just picked up another Ford yesterday and doesn’t really mean much. And sincerely it’s not a huge deal since I have plenty of fun cars on hand and if it goes to Summer I’ll just keep having fun regardless of the GT500 presence. I really like the GT Mustang all loaded up and no harm done enjoying these as time passes.
And here’s my latest purchase
