Just curious if anyone else has experienced a slow pressure leak in any of your tires on a new 2020 GT500 (base model)...?

Right from the factory/dealer, I am getting an approximate 1 PSI loss in pressure every 2 days from my rear driver's side tire. No apparent damage to the tire (no punctures, bulges, tears) and the valve stem seems tight.

I do not have any leaks and for sure take her to the dealer and ask them to look at the wheel and or some bid tire dealer like a truck shop.. They have big tubs with water in them to drop a whole wheel and tire in to look for bubbles.

You can make some dish soap/water solution and apply it to the tire. Take the valve stem cap off and try it on the valve first. Next I'd go around the bead. Bubbles=leak

Yeah, but I had a nail in mine. Found it while doing the 500 mile oil change. Otherwise no issues.

I had the exact same location issue, rear driver tire. Was sure it was from the factory, and after washing the windshield the 10th time, with the light just so, i saw an old grease pencil marking that said "left rear", cementing my theory of poor install at the factory. Fast forward to my second service (for storage) and there was no warranty work as the dam thing had a nail in it...Who knows form where!

I've plugged PS's in the past due to a road hazard but just to get her home. FAIK, no one will "fix" that tire as I beleive it's against the law on those types due to the ratings and a replacement is probably in order.

Apparently you can patch them up to 3 times, even thinner ones than ours.

Depends on the location of the leak and damage. Meaning if the screw is close to the edge of the tire they won’t fix it.

Correct. Mine was dead center. It wasn't even leaking air really the nail was in so tight.

Check the valve stems. One of my was leaking on my 00R took me a week to figure it out. I filled the tire up three times before I finally realized what it was.

Not from the factory but went out for a drive today and noticed tpms light on and found a nice big bolt in my front drivers side tire. So gotta wait til monday for dealer service department to open and hope they have a tire in stock.

My recollection is that each patch lowers the tire's speed rating by one level

I too have read that, Scott. When I had my one and only flat in my '14, no one would repair it saying it was illegal on a Z tire and of course, Ford didn't have one so they had to order it. When it came in, the SM told me they couldn't mount the tire but the SM knew the SM at Beemer and they did it for me for free.
