On my last car, I did a complete GT to GT350 brake swap. For the front, I had to install a custom made bracket to the GT knuckle so the GT350 caliper could mount to it. Everything else stayed stock GT.

For the rear, I had to swap the e-brake cables (due to drum style e-brake), rear LCA (due to the sensor hole location), and then install the GT350 e-brake assembly, along with an e-brake cable bracket to complete the install. The wheel bearing bolts are now also slightly longer to accommodate the width of the e-brake assembly. Everything else stayed stock GT.
Yeah I know the kit uses a bracket, I think the op was asking what it would take to run the R front knuckle on a GT

I’ve wondered as well what it would take to run the R front knuckle as well. I’ve never been able to get a good answer 😂🤷🏼‍♂️

It will require using GT 350 caliper. There is a bracket that will make the 350 caliper mount to the GT knuckle, but there is no way to make the GT caliper work with the GT 350 knuckle.

Yeah I’m referring to running the R knuckle on. GT with 350 brakes

Just to clear some stuff up, I own a 2020 GT500. I'm looking to go down in brake size and weight for drag racing. So I want to swap all the calipers, rotors, and probably spindles to a normal GT setup. I already have Aerospace drag rear brakes and stock 2018 GT front calipers and rotors from other builds.

So I’ve got some more info. This applies for going in the 350 to GT way. I spoke to a suspension engineer from a company that builds race parts. The tapers in the knuckle for the 350 differ from the GT. He also said he believes the lca’s for the 350 are a little longer as well. My overall thinking is everything that attaches the knuckle to the car needs to be changed. Track width is also going to change without the use of custom parts to shorten up the lca’s to the standard GT length.
This is doable but it’s not simple

Not sure what he means by tapers, but the LCA’s are not longer. I spent some time comparing them when I swapped to 350 breaks, the only difference in the rears between the two is the drum style e-brake on the 350. This assembly pushes the rear wheel roughly 5/16” out, which is why the location of the sensors moved. So in the end the wheels are pushed out, but not because the LCA is any longer.

Jamie, the engineer was referring to the fronts not the rears

ps - taper is on the stud is what he is referencing

The radial mount on the GT350/GT500 spindles are geared towards big brakes. I'd stick with the GT hardware and any number of parts that are readily available to do what you are looking for.
Do you have any info about a AP RACING KIT SWAP in a gt500?
Really considering it to be able to use 18 for track purposes.
