My information for the 2016 MY GT350/R front spring rating came from the Shelby GT350 Ford Source Book issued back in June 2015.

Obviously the front spring rating on the R models stayed the same over the last 5 years with the GT350 front spring rating increasing from 194 to 211 and will suggest that may have happened for the 2019 MY but just a guess from my standpoint.

It appears to be in the high 1:21s or extremely low 22s at Grattan.

That’s Viper ACR/ZR1 territory for that track.

I did ask directly if we will ever see the official times, and mike dean chimed in "nope"

Doesnt matter since im.the one that timed the video so I know for a fact its 1.21 or faster

I wonder what the angle is here. You have a car dropping great times and you’re being silent about it so it’s a shock? Or is the car not as fast as they wanted? Wouldn’t it be a PR win to claim how quick it is? A GT500 that capable would be amazing.

Same angle its always been, Ford does not release lap times and they have stated why.

Did not know that was the case. I was a VAG fan before my GT350 for damn near 20 years. This car broke that spell I was in, I love it so much. I don’t intend to buy a GT350 (I love a manual) but it’s starting to look like the best value on the planet.

Me too been a vag fan my whole life, vw not so much.

Anyways the regular gt500 even with ps4s tires should be quicker than a gt350r. I'm curious by how much. Too bad ford missed out on the lightning lap. Oh well, theres next year.
