The GT4 is a helluva car, would have loved to see the head to head.

Congrats to the 500. Perhaps post Covid we can see it go up against a full field. The emo side of me feels bad for the kid, he is going to miss the 500.

Well deserved win! Congrats to you 500 owners and thanks again Ford for stepping up and giving us more choices.

... with that said, that TRX is speaking to me. I really like going fast off-road...

I like to disassemble things.

Like other Mustangs, this is a big car, and at 4059 lbs, it’s one of the heaviest cars in this test despite the lightweight wheels and optional rear-seat delete.
The way they wrote that is going to mislead many readers into thinking the RSD is a stand-alone option, which it isn't.

Ford should make it an option just as CFTP owners should be given the choice to have rear seats if they want them. Ford, time to let your focus group failures go and give the people what they want. It shouldn't be this difficult with everything you make.

This is pretty nice win until you look at last years winner.....Not sure it means anything other than a way to sell magazines/subscriptions/clicks......

Ram TRX really? I thought it was called performance CAR of the year not big off road pickup. Don’t get me wrong the trx is swell but honestly that’s just silly. I’m glad the gt500 won but really who cares we’re all going to love the car no matter what R&T says.

Oh yeah and last year’s winner is a joke.

I felt the exact same way last year, but I looked a little closer at the Veloster N helping my son find a daily drivable car with an HPDE warranty and that is one hell of a track car for the money. He bought a turbo 4 1le instead. It's amazing the laptime performance you can get for around $30K these days.

It goes to show you they don't go by just laptimes in the POCY, which speaks to the 500's overall brilliance.

Awesome showing.

Good article, that continues the acclaim this car has been grabbing since it's introduction. The bit with the TRX was truly laugh inducing. Sounds like a "COVID" because we can inclusion, and it made me chuckle.
