I tried searching through the threads and I found a post under the GT350 section about this but I just wanted to ask you all. I went into place my order and selected the FPB color. We went through and selected the options and that was that. About a 2 days later, I get a call from the dealership and they let me know that the FPB color and the Exposed Carbon Fiber Instrument Panel are conflicting options. I was skeptical and decided to call Ford directly. They told me that as far as Ford was concerned there should't be any conflict. I decided to give the dealership a visit and try to straighten out the issue. They didn't clarify any more about the car. I had already given them the deposit and was told I could either pick another color and get the option of keep the color and lose the option but that the deposit would not come back to me. I chose the color as I figured it would be easier to buy the trim piece and install it after myself. I began to look into it and realized that this is going to be quite expensive. What I was hoping someone could clarify is the parts numbers, as I've been told that the factory setup is only 3 parts. I intend to go the OEM route, I know this is more expensive. If you've done something like this, please let me know how it went for you.

The dealership is 100% wrong.

Maybe they are confusing it with the carbon fiber track pack option??

The dealership is messing this up for sure. There should be zero issues with those option.

Thank You. I did originally think that maybe we were getting confused for the track package, but we cleared that issue up. I am going to take this and see what they have to say.

I have the FPB with the carbon fiber dash combo. There were no conflicting options.

I am convinced they are trying to add the CFTP (carbon fiber track pack - $18,500 option), not the CFIP (carbon fiber instrument panel - $1,000 option). Here are pictures of my FPB "Base" GT500 with the CFIP

Agreed. While I have a different color ordered it is clearly an option for 1,000. I think since I blew 10k on painted stripes I might go all in!
