My take from that book is that if its legit, Chevy changed the way the packages are called from current gens, now, 1lt-2lt-3lt packages are called lt1,lt2, and lt3. It is also possible that the engineers and designers call the 2020 vette the lt2 vette due to the lt2 engine. We have two possibilities.

Naw. The book only refers to LT2 because that is the only engine released to date. The only nameplate that is released is Stingray and it comes in 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT trim levels. The Z51 package can be added to any of those three trim levels. The 1LT / LT1 confusion is a classic GM fubar that nobody wants to fix anytime soon.

When Z06, Grand Sport, ZR1 (and/or Zora) are released there will be additional engines (LT6, LT7) released. Until then, LT2 is the only engine available.
