I noticed a similar situation during the Ferrari/Porsche half mile race. The Ferrari was charging up hard on the Porsche and then that hard charge appeared to stop when it drew even with the Porsche (one of the final scenes shot from the Ferrari), like the driver backed off the throttle. At the end, it only won by five feet. Didnât seem right. Considering the F8 already has a significant 7 mph advantage in trap speed in the quarter mile (while being only a couple of tenths down), and likely a far greater trap speed difference in the half mile, it should have been ahead by more than five feet.
