I can only imagine how much Aerospace fronts would help save weight!
And in all fairness Evolution did install GT drag brakes all around if memory serves.
Having 15” rears will be a massive advantage.

I'm glad you are amused. Someday maybe you can do something to a 2020 up GT500 that is the first time ever done.

I took out "world" since that seems to be a big deal to you even tho it's true.
Hey relax there guy. I detect a subtle wallet flex. Not applicable in this situation, but valid attempt nonetheless.

Anyhow, nice car and look forward to seeing the progress at the dragstrip!

I was actually wondering how much resistance those make. If anyone knows I'd like to hear it.
One of the instructors at Track Attack said that the wickers and flap add a couple of 10ths to the quarter mile ET on the GT500s.

I'd like to think that is true as I ran a 10:60s with everything on and rain tray out. I'll have to test this theory in the Fall.

Nice. Now take off the wickers and gurney flap to cut down on that 1/4 mile time. Extra drag that is not needed at the strip!!!!
Also put in the rain tray.
Why rain tray in, wouldn't that create more resistance?

I am by no mean an expert but my understanding is the air flowing thru the car causes more drag than the air flowing over the car. The rain tray in cuts down on the airflow through the engine bay and out of the hood. Again, that is how it was explained to me.
My fastest strip time was with the set up as I described. 10.82 in the 1/4 mile bone stock on my 2022 base car.
I did a few runs tray in and a few tray out. Some night. Tray out was slightly faster.
