I would if I was in your position it is highly unlikely you would find a 19 allocation this late in the game that would allow you to customize the options to your liking or find a new 350 on the lot without a dealer markup. I would begin your search now for a dealer that will allocate a GT350 to you for MRSP with the options you want (this is most likely any big ford dealership near you). If they come back with a no MSRP deal I would walk as me and many others on this forum ordered a 19 350 without a markup in fact I got mine for $1000 under MSRP
Yea, a lot of big dealers near me in MI have the 19 GT350 fully loaded for MSRP. If no order can be made for the 2020, then I’ll wait until they come to the dealers and get one off the lot. Can’t see them being over MSRP due to the GT500 coming out.

Think the 2020 will get the DCT?
No. 500 will only be the one with DCT.

Was going to buy the 2019 GT350, but now that the 2020 GT350 is possibly on the works, I’m now thinking on waiting. What should I do?
Never catch a falling knife. If you can secure a 2020 now, then do it. If you can find a 2019 or older that you like, then get it.

The engine will be slightly difficult as it will be receiving some parts from the GT500.

That’s all I know of.

Difficult as in tuned, or received similar parts to the GT500?

Oops different.

The 2020 GT350 will get the 2020 GT500 block with FPC

Isn’t it still the same 5.2 V8 FPC? So what would be different about it? maybe tuned different to match the GT500?

I am not sure what all is different but Ford said the GT350 would get the GT500 engine/block once the GT500 was in production.

Okay thanks! So what I’ve researched is this will be the last year of the GT350.

I doubt it but who knows.
The GT350 may continue to be made as long as the S550 is around.

The rumors that were floating around Ford HQ was that 2019 was suppose to the last year.

I was waiting for someone to realize that a "TT" car implies there is a running hardware change, and to ask what it is. Surprised it took 2 pages ;-)

I don't think the block sharing with the GT500 alone would warrant a tooling test build if all the external dimensions are the same. To me that implies something else has changed for the 2020 R. If no changes to driveline, tune, or body, it's probably something suspension related. Anyone have a clue?

I would guess it has some suspension changes but who knows.

I was thinking sort of the same thing. But I think it goes with both the 350 and the 350R. Some internal design changes possibly.
