Look they are expensive…I can deny it but if you look at the cost of replacing the clutch every season or other season at 1500 a pop plus labor in 4 years it’s paid for itself. I threw up when I bought mine. Nice thing is the clutch is universal and can go car to car with a flywheel change. If you know someone that has one do like I did and ask to drive it. Crazy think about that clutch is the hotter it got the better it got. Multiple 6000 rpm launches my car had a redline of 9500. It was so responsive because it was so light. Crazy thing is when I took it out of the box and saw how light and small it was in comparison to others it was strange. I don’t have a Manuel car anymore but I’d never by another clutch but a tilton. You might not need a 4 disk clutch. I think the torque rating on those is over 1900 ft lbs. save the money and get a 3 disk. I don’t think you would ever exceed the rating. Keep me posted on speedkore. I was looking at some of their stuff.
I would stay away from speedkore unless they send you pictures showing all the mounting points of the inside of panels. It should have OEM mounting points. What I received was not even close. And the quality of the surfaces was not even close. You can see waves and dimples in the surface, and if you want a clean OEM finish than not happening. Plus they want stupid money for the parts. I was expecting perfection for what i paid. This would be more suitable fkr a wreck race car rebuild and slap carbon on.

Not as bad as I thought. But you can see where the heat built up pretty high.

Clutch is in today. Gonna drive it tonight and test tomorrow. If everything is healthy with no codes and good shifting, I’ll report back.

Looks like it needs a crank relearn.

any tips?My scanner tool doesn’t have that capability, are there other ways to do it?

If I recall even Forscan can't do that. I believe you either need an SCT Tuner or have the dealer do it with IDS.

Looks like hp tuners can do it.

I have devices for some other cars. I’m gonna try that out here in a couple hours

Did the crank relearn with HP tuners. Worked like a charm.

drove the car about 45miles, ripped on it pretty good, had no issues, no codes, no nothing. Just solid power and good response. Clutch feels good also,

gotta wait till track day and see if this thing is 100%.

if that’s the case we are going to finally get this engine pulled and finish the rest of the mods.

Went driving, had a charging system service now pop up.

looks like the auto zone alternator I threw in while in Daytona is shit,

car died on me right in front of the house.

I’ll be dealing with that this weekend.

lol. Fun stuff

Finally got back on the track.

got my original alternator back in, car is charging just fine.

the other alternator that was giving me problems actually had a short to ground, we had a wire up against the heat shroud on the alternator plug. So we can fix that wiring and have a spare alternator now.

ran about 25 laps today. All full power no codes, no lights, nothing but good power. Im so relieved we got that shit dealt with, and we know what the cause was.

I’ll have fresh tires on for next week and go back to chasing lap times.

I think it’s time for the new engine….

Had the AC take a dump on me last night lol. Late getting home, I saw some what I thought was “smoke” coming from under the hood. My dad was following behind me also.

I pulled off, popped the hood and heard a hissing sound and green fluid on the passenger side leaking out all over the place.

Haha!Love it

Might as well get this warrantied before we crack the PCM.
