Did you decide on wheels yet? Why don’t you buy a set of cf rears and run square setup with wheel spacers up front.
I’m trying to land another set of OEM carbon wheels.

Those sections on the bumper that stick out to accept the screws and bolts to hold everything together do not exist. It is all over. It would require allot of glue

That's a shame about the Speedkore stuff—but good to hear about Anderson. I'd eyes on their products for some time. Beautiful build!

hood pins are a pain in the ass by the way. since this is a carbon fiber hood it needs hood pins.

So i went with the Quik-latch hood pins, the QL-50 models, which by doing research are somewhat similar to the 2020 Gt500 pins. They have a unique hood pin than the rest because the hood is dimpled and the design is a bit longer inside than the QL 50.

So I ordered the QL 50 and got to looking under the hood, and there is a location on the car that is setup to take these pins. I want to use this location so it looks OEM and i dont want to drill holes in the car if i can avoid it.

this portion of the car has that opening, it is identical to the 2020 gt500 as well.

so I called Quik latch for the adapter for the car, they don’t make it, it is a Ford engineered component.

so I called my local dealership for just the adapter that holds the hood pin.

they want $620 for each of these plates lmao. I’m having some fabbed up locally by my bud who does my tuning and the work on my Hellcat.

if anybody wants some more of these adapters I can have some more made up. They will look clean.

it’s important to know that when talking to Quik latch that the pin from the QL 50 will need to be 2 hundredth of an inch longer to snap into the latch. The gt500 is made longer and that is one of the few differences from the gt500 latch to their other designs.

There was a thread going a while ago on the 500 forum about the Ford only, very expensive hood pin part - I’m sure if you can find that thread there will be a nice little market for you :like:

I've been looking into exactly this issue - I'm quite interested in the adapters. There's a post here about the same issues and adapters fabbed from a frying pan :) Let me know what you come up with.

Regarding the longer pin, is this just something you call Quik Latch and order directly from them ("I'll take the QL 50 with the GT500 length pin")?

We are going to be offering these for $399 a set. They work with the Quik-latch QL-50 hood pins. I will have them listed on our site here soon. If anyone is interested in placing a order before they go live just shoot me a PM.

ive seen your builds for a few year now. Have you guys worked on a specific road racing setup for anyone?

if be 100% down to discuss a turbo setup that was strictly road racing, with cooling being a priority. I know you use the smaller Xona rotor tubos with solid success.

we can chat in the PMs about it.
