Another option for the brakes is the AP kit from Essex, used on the FP350S. I'm running their front and rear brake kits which saves ~25lbs on the front and ~8lbs on the rear. They also accommodate 18" wheel fitment and the brake pad selection is enormous. Pad changes are easy and the two piece rotors are simple to rebuild.

Pricing for the complete system was somewhere around $10k.

Wasnā€™t sure if you ordered the hood but MPR has the triple vent in stock

I checked them out. Sent sales an email asking some questions. Thanks for the link.
Did you ever get a response on the clutch?

I ordered it already, doesnā€™t mean I could maybe back out and get it. Iā€™ll call Anderson and see whatā€™s happening with my order. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes let me look up the email.
Saw you talking about weight savings. 10 or so years ago I had a buddy with a 1300hp Supra and he had a quad carbon clutch from them and the fly wheel and clutch weighed 11 lbs and had like a 1900 ft lb trq rating. That car ran 8.30ā€™s in the quarter in the 3600 lb car trapping 166 mph.

When I spoke with Jeff on January 18th, they had everything but the flywheel in production. They still didnā€™t have a specified date on when the flywheel would be available.

I just sent them another email right now following up to see if they are ready to sell the complete kit.

These clutch packs arenā€™t cheap obviously.

But hereā€™s retail pricing minus the flywheel.

Just ordered these from Steeda. They just came available on their website.

Should have them installed tomorrow.

Honestly thatā€™s about right. Thatā€™s right at the price they were 10 years ago. Nice part is you can rebuild them at home. Buy it once and the rebuilds are pretty cheap.

PS - you are going to love the clutch. Itā€™s the best Iā€™ve ever driven. Itā€™s butter šŸ˜± Iā€™m impressed theyā€™ve kept the same price for 10 years given everything else has gone up. Still expensive I know but still.

Whatā€™s the normal voltage level for this car?
With the new battery in Iā€™m at 13.5V

After I put the new battery in when I turn the car off the car is still trying to crank. Itā€™s like itā€™s still trying to start. Non stop. Basically The car shuts off but the starter is still going and going.

Need to figure this out.

Stock battery weighs 26 lbs 14 oz

Antigravity ATX-20HD weighs 4 lbs 10 oz

Mount weighs 7 oz

Never mind all good. I took the car for a spin and itā€™s working fine now.

I checked on the hoods. They did have one. They wanted $3500 plus $200 shipping.

I already have one on order for $2800 shipped. I donā€™t need it that bad as Iā€™m waiting for the Anderson decklid also.

They also offer a Tripe Disc that pairs with their 1000R package.
