I ordered mine on 9-9-19 and still don’t have a vin. I talked to FP and my dealership has the allocation but they are shutting down production for the winter soon. So mine isn’t getting built until after that. March or April.

If I have a dealer order a GT350, should I be expecting to pay MSRP? Just trying to set my expectations before going to a dealer.

Talk to multiple dealers about ordering a GT350 and tell each one what the others are offering. They'll compete with each other and bring down the price in order to convince you to order from them instead of the others. My friend got it down to within two or three hundred of invoice for ordering a 2020. Of course, this also does depend on the local market for GT350s where you live. If everyone is marking up 10K for one in your area you probably won't be able to negotiate down very much.

Ok guys my car Isn’t on the schedule to get built yet and probably isn’t getting built until March or April. I can get a 19 same spec car for less money should I just cancel my order and go get this 19?

Just had Paradise Ford offer to order me a GT350 for $10k over MSRP. They must think they are in Paradise if they think people are going to pay that. Morons.

There is no difference between the 2019 and 2020 base GT350 other than a few color changes. Check cars.com - there are new 2019's out there for $4000 under invoice!

See above. Don't pay MSRP on a 2020 when you can find 2019's at $7000 under MSRP.

Yeah, I'm definitely not going to pay MSRP. Unfortunately I've kind of made my mind up on wanting Grabber Lime, so my options are extremely limited. I've had two other offers from dealers but they were both over MSRP. New car buying experience, gotta love it!

You may still want to consider walking on the 2020. If your deal is for MSRP on the 2020 and your deposit isn’t much, you could still make out better on a marked down 19.

I had a base 2020 on order that I walked from for a 19 R at almost 5k off MSRP. Even with the small deposit loss, I was still ahead because my order for the 2020 base was MSRP. I ended up with a loaded 19 R for 2k more than the loaded base 2020. The decision was easy. The R is the way to go.
