Recently I was removing my Watson 4 point roll bar, which is removable. We had to loosen the seatbelt tensioner's on both sides to get the bar out. After screwing the torx bolts on the tensioners back in the drivers side belt is solid locked, won't budge. The passenger side works just like before. My buddy at his shop has the tools where we did this and just discovered it after he closed the shop up. Any ideas how to get the tensioner to release? I've already tried the techniques from youtube but the belt is locked solid won't move a millimeter.

What about if you loosen again will the tensioner work as describe? Maybe if you play with the tensioner while retorking ? Ideas just like that ?

Maybe disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect?

Just a wild ass guess,

not now... finally got that damn connector off and it's just mechanically messed up.

I disconnected the tensioner bolt, the shoulder bolt took off the sensor connection and the tensioner slid up to the shoulder belt area and stops but it will NOT unlock. I can hold the strap perfectly straight or at an angle or any way but it doesn't unlock. It's Ford dealer time now, which likely they'll just replace the belt. It should be a warranty fix, but I expect some eyeball rolls when they see it almost complete uninstalled. LOL
