Bad batch of valve springs the middle of this year too on several engines. Glad my LT4 is 2019.

The potential perils of purchasing in the first year of a significant model change are well known. I've been burned on the 88 XJ6, 90 ZR1, and the 02 M3. On the other hand, I had sensational experience with my 78 Bronco, 84 Vette and 96 Viper GTS. It's a crap shoot that I am still willing to take. My reservation is down for the new Bronco.

New Bronco is a home run.

To be fair the GT500 is coming at the tail end of the S550 run that's proven whereas the C8 is completely new. The frunk opening at high speeds was fixed via software as it was easy to pop it by mistake from the fob. The valve springs, DCT leaking and brakes seems to be supplier issues for certain batches of parts produced.

Those C8’s are having a real problem Filling orders. First it was the long strike. Then complete the C7 that were in the pipeline. Finally January they started up the line. Then Covid 19. Now this will only make people pull out their hair what’s left. Feel bad for the people that have been waiting since last year. They have made only about 10,000 cars . They were suppose to produce over 30,000 2020 units . They will build the 2020 model up until middle of December Approximately 20,000 units. Then start 2021 in January.

I saw a brand new C8 over the weekend. I was a passenger in our car so I could look it over as we slowly went around it. Did not like it as much as I thought I would. The side scoop is way too big to me, and the rear is Camaro-ish and a mess. I thought the nose looked good. Just doesn't flow IMO.

I seen one in person a week ago. Red in color, looked BETTER in person than I thought it would. Definitely looking real nice. Looked exotic, as it should.

I've seen two (one sort of a dove gray, the other a variant of Grabber Blue), and thought they look far better in person than in pictures. Very exotic in appearance.
