Just wanted to let everyone know that in my research to buy a rear seat kit for my 20 HEP R - Ford Performance told me that a 2019+ Rear Seat Kit is "in the works" and to check back when/if it will become available.

Ford also said that for compatibility of the 2020 to the now discontinued 2016-2018 Rear Seat Kit "There has been some feedback (calls/questions) regarding some issues with minor changes in fastener use/locations for some rear seat part applications but these were customers doing as this one trying to install a past product on an newer model so they could not confirm that it applies here."

I'm not saying the 16-18 doesn't fit but take that comment for what it's worth. So if you are a 2019+ GT350R owner and want to put the dog/kids in the back (maybe the wife but then it becomes less fun) on weekends- I would reach out to Ford Performance and request the 19+ rear seat kit. The more of us that inquire the better chance of it becoming a reality.

I’m interested in the kit... who do I reach out to? Why they didn’t make the rear seats for the R is beyond me.... I understand it’s a “track car” but let US take out the rear seats if we like! Not every R owner is taking it on the track

Go to ford performance parts site and chat with a rep. Let them know through there.

“Although we can't speculate on future product offerings, but are always exploring additional FPP content. I wouldn't doubt if this is an item in the works. I would check back with us later in the year.”
This is the reply i got back to my email.

Typical response- every interaction has been like that with Ford- they cover their asses.... “well we can’t tell you no, but also can’t tell you yes” “check back!” Yeah yeah yeah

Great. The more of us that do that the higher chance we have of it becoming a reality. Thanks for everyone’s participation in this thread!

I like to disassemble things.

It likely won't. FR has moved beyond the S550 platform with what limited budget they have. They offer nothing for the GT500. The GT350 got little attention from them as well after a full 6 years of production.

The rear seat part number they carried for a short time early on was to satisfy executives that got their R models and wanted a rear seat. Somewhat related, FP struggled with selling the R rear seat delete and abandoned that offering as well. They now have two cars that have a RSD, the '20 R/CFTP, and still won't take advantage of increased economies of scale and offer the part again. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but FP has hit a dead end in this regard and has focused their limited efforts elsewhere.

Best bet is find a 350 owner who wants a RSD and do a swap would be my guess

I had researched this a lot and was able to find a solution. Contact MPR Performance they basically order standard backseats then reupholster the backseat to match the front. They quoted me at about 3200 for it. Here are the pictures they sent me.
