Hello everyone if you months ago I bought a used 2019 GT with an upgraded stereo. It has to stock head unit, focal k2 3 ways up front, focal coaxial in the rear. A kicker comp 12 in a custom sealed enclosure in the passenger side. I have a kicker iq1000.5 running the fronts and sub and a kicker key running the rear. I have a rockford fosgate dsr1 dsp. The guy spent $4700 on the stereo and it doesnt like it should. I listen to it at 25 and it only goes to 30. Im taking it to a stereo shop tomorrow but wanted to know anyones thoughts so i can have them look into it while im there. Im also going to be getting rid of my 12 and adding more subs. So my 12 and enclosure will be up for sale. Thank you for your help.

Have you tried adjusting the gain on the amp or in the DSR1? Start with tuning the DSR1 gains up. Then the amp. It sounds to me like the gain is too low.

To raise the input gain on the DSR1 reflash it with 3V input instead of the default 4V.
Is the DSR1 only used as integration device, i.e. you're not using the DSP part of the DSR1, but from the Kicker-Q class amp?

I've had the same issue, i'm pretty sure DSR1 is the culprit here. I've raised a ticket in the past for them to fix it, not sure if they did with a firmware update. I removed the DSR1 from my setup and and got a Helix DSP.

I think it’s fixed, with my DSR1 my amp gains are at like 1.5 out of 10. Loudness is no issue.

Yes it is... still doesn't solve the issue of 0.5db steps in the EQ and not freely choosable frequencies in the EQ.

I just have the stock 9speaker setup with Forscan flat EQ, an LC2i, Alpine 600w mono amp, and a single Alpine TypeS 12” sealed sub and it bangs between 18-20 on volume. I never have to turn it up higher than this. I only got ~$400 in my total setup and am more than happy.
