I have an 18GT, PP1, 6sp convertible with digital dash. Redline is 7400 but rev limiter kicks in at 7200... very annoying and requires a lot of attention to avoid if you are running it through the gears. Why would the rev limiter kick in before redline? This is the one of the main reason I am considering getting a tuner.
Someone posted a screenshot of hp tuners. Based on about 1000 parameters these cars will vary redline.

I had a Canadian 2018 GT pp1 manual, and it had the same 6500 rpm redline tach. It revved all the way to 7400.

When logging my manual 19 pp1 (performance pack tune but it doesn't change redline) it logs around 7350 give or take about 10. I've never gotten it at or above 7400, even when hitting the limiter on accident (feels like hitting a wall, not pleasant). So my limit is at or just before 7400.

The wrong set of gauges would definitely bug me but that doesn't mean the car can't rev that high. Have you tried going higher? If you're on the stock tune then don't worry about going over because of the aforementioned limiter. At least the numbers should be accurate. I'd be more annoyed at an improperly adjusted tach than a superficial line that wasn't accurate.
Yeah, its just the fact that they installed the old Guage that bugs me haha it will rev to 7500 though. I still need to get ahold of them to see if they will swap it out.

You want to know what’s funny? Ford gave the Canadian market the new halo MY colour option, but couldn’t bother to update the tachometer rpm redline. So I don’t know why they REFUSE to give us the correct tachometer.

They probably just recycled the 2013-2014 MY gauges for Canada since they had the halo (then Ford removed it for the S550 2015-2017 for whatever reason)

So Ford puts the right tachometer in a car sold overseas, but couldn't bother to put a new one in a country that's a hop across the border? Oh Ford, never change...

That may be because cars sold overseas have the digital dash as standard. We don't get the analog one in the 2018+.

So if the OP changes the gauge to show the proper redline, will the MyColor be lost?

I wonder how that is going to look?

The OP could pick up a used 2018+ instrument panel and just change the tach face and everything else could remain as is. Fast forward to 2:32 in the video. Not hard to do.

No. If he changes the gauges to show the proper redline, he would essentially be getting the American tachometer which has everything.

your red line is where the rpm limiter kicks in...

Well....if he orders the correct tachometer. From a car that has MyColor, which is from all but the 300A/base cars.
