I had my 2019 Mustang Gt with only 3100 miles dynoed after having kooks 1 7/8 catted long tube headers and a Jlt cold air intake and custom 93 tune on a dyno jet only made 443hp and 399 tq is these numbers low . Please let me know what you think.

Do you have a baseline number on the same dyno?
Auto or manual?

I have seen similar results on 18+ cars that are stock and with similar mods to you. Some cars have lower output from factory than others so that is why a baseline helps check improvement after mods.

Dyno results can also vary wildly based on how the dyno is calibrated. It's a tool to estimate power but real world results would be had by running the 1/4 mile and checking MPH.

You're aware of the difference between measured HP at the wheels, and measured HP at the crank?

Says who?

Did JLT, Kooks and Shell get together and decide what that combo should make?

You're at 98.444444444444% of what you expected, but you're disappointed?

You should have dyno the car before those mods, then it will be easier for comparison. Also, aftermarket companies always posted higher horsepower on the parts than it really is.

On the same dyno, you would probably be there with no cats. I haven't seen a lot of big gains from catted LTs and 93 tunes. With exhaust, most of the power gain I have seen was from eliminating cats.

Also, you could very well go to another shop, put the car on the dyno, and put down 460rwhp with no changes.

My torque was only 399 a little low I think
It's hard to judge with no frame of reference. No vaseline means you don't know how much you gained. Also, dyno's can vary based on calibration.

If you are really worried about it, go to the drag strip with a sticky tire and see what it does. 1/4 mile MPH will tell you how much power you are making. Dyno's are a tool to estimate power and torque, better to use them as a reference point as you mod to compare to baselines.

Or maybe you just got a "Friday" motor and were underpowered from factory...

This doesn't seem low to me. 399 tq at the wheels is like 470 at the crank assuming a 15% loss.

A baseline dyno run would have been helpful though since all cars will read different on different dynos.

NFS hp upgrades be like:

conic shaped filter - 10 hp
muffler - 15 hp
12v electric supercharger - 30 hp
multiple brand stickers on doors - 15 hp + 3 street rep.

when i added my jlt intake, and canned 93 tune from sct, i was making the exact same power as i was doing stock lol...

Well, since I am in the boat VERY recently I can tell you this. Yesterday with a JLT intake, Ultimate 1 7/8s LTH with HF cats made 455hp and like 420tq, on 93 octane. SO, your torque number MAY be slightly off, BUT what dyno were you on? When was it calibrated last? Was the gear ratio set correctly? Were they in the proper gear? Did they pull it all the way? Was the car too hot or too cold? See how many factors come into play with this?

Heat, humidity and altitude will also affect dyno readings. Without a baseline, you are just jacking off.
