Intake bank 1 solenoid; no debris or oil grunge, just wasn’t moving smoothly.
Got the GT back...just in time to sell it.
tough decision because that GT is in fantastic condition, but a dealership was very persistent over the weekend and finally went with the “outrageous “ numbers I gave them at the start.
I now own a beautiful GT500

Wow what an upgrade! Congrats. Just for reference, what was the "outrageous" offer that they accepted for your 2019 GT?

3K over MSRP and 35k for my 19 GT
at the start they wanted $35k over and $20k for my GT
all over the internet, and they delivered my Shelby and picked up the GT

best time to buy a car is when you don't need to

Possibly the angle but Oil pressure might be a little low; hard to tell. Are they acting normally under acceleration?

the same for me currently I have 62k miles 2019 10 speed gt ! Blew engine at 15k tranny at 40k ! I warm my car up for ten minutes everyday ! ... I normally experience problems when the tranny is at 200 heat ! But then Again some days I’ll start it to drive to the grocery store , stop at the light and the car will shut off ! Ford can’t duplicate so I’ll be paying 250 for an inspection and the rental for 5 days ! 1k down the hole and no fix ! I came to the conclusion that I will only take in my car if it doesn’t work ? Because if they can’t duplicate you pay everything !

For the guy who said there gauge clusters were going hay wire ....mine did the same the next day after I bought it ! Only 300 miles ! My gauges was going crazy and my car will shake when I accelerate it finally shut off and I was stuck in the back roads !

I don’t know about you guys but this is a rip off , the extended (150k) warranty doesn’t cover active exhaust After the manufacture warranty it’s 1k to fix one actuator ! Rip off ! I dont need it anyways I’ll be welding that shit open! Good thing is that I can’t void my warranty if the exhaust is no longer warranted!

I had 6 tranny fixes and nothing fixed the problem ! Lemonade will be gone soon ! Other dealers are offering lifetime warranty in power train ! Just saying

Hey guys. I recently bought a used 2019 Mustang GT 10-speed (~32k miles) about a month ago and I’ve been having issues when idling and coming to a stop at red lights. Sometimes when the car is stopped at a red light for a few seconds, the RPM starts fluctuating and slightly going up and down and the car shakes pretty roughly as this is happening. This happens quite a lot. Now, sometimes during these fluctuations, the RPM will drop very low and then the engine will just shut off (stall). This happened to me 2 or 3 times all within a week until I decided to go to the dealership (6/8/20).

They initially diagnosed the issue as an Intake Manifold Runner Control problem and they replaced the faulty part. Just a few days after that repair, the same thing happened where the RPM went up and down at idle and the car stalled again at a red light. Went back into the dealership, and they said this time it was the throttle body that was bad and they replaced it (that was today 6/29/20). Decided to take the car out tonight for a test drive and lo and behold, the idle is still very rough at red lights although it didn’t stall out in my short test drive. Although it feels the exact same before with the RPM fluctuations and I feel like it’s a matter of time before I get the stall to occur. I haven’t called the dealership again yet because this was at night, but I am getting a little worried.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing the rough idling and stalling of the car? I’m not sure what they’ll say after I call them tomorrow for the 3rd visit/repair, but I wanted some opinions.

--Also not sure if it’s related but sometimes when I shift from D to R, the car will suddenly increase the RPM quite a bit and it makes the car jump back initially if I don’t have my foot on the brakes. I’ve learned to keep my foot on the brake for an extra few seconds when shifting into reverse, but does that seem normal? I have to be extra careful in my garage when I’m backing it in, cause the car will lurch suddenly after changing the gear from D to R.

And to add , FORD CANT FIX THE TRANNY PROBLEM they only can’t offer you a used one that saves them money! The forks on the mustang is made in China ! If u upgrade that u should be good ! But like I said there’s lifetime warranty at other dealers

My dealer service came back with the same parameter fails I gave them when they did the diagnostic; at first they said cannot duplicate then ran the diagnostic and bingo. Mine never threw a code either; I was monitoring VCT and Cam Exhaust Error parameters via a ProCal 4 module.

It’s been 7 days now .....

I monitor mine as well , threw a Code after I had the k&n filter in , “ fuel to oil efficiency “ so I took it out and replaced it with micro guard filter ! That’s code problem is gone ! But the tranny remains the same
... I called today , after they drove my car another 60 miles , to get it hot (200 degrees ) they still couldn’t duplicate it! But alll of the sudden say I had a “total” of ten misfires from the last time I came and got my tranny done . Which was 2 months ago ! Like brah you couldn’t tell me that the first day? Why all the sudden u bring this machine that tells u what happen to my car now, after 7 days ! Smh just tell me you busy , busy fixing Ford trannys , I’ll understand lol

beside that , they also said they are not experienced enough to fix it and that it will be taken to a Ford specialist engineer! ?? Like brahhh why keep wasting my time ! ? Why couldn’t it been taken to a specialist in the first place , You took it to the specialist the first time my tranny was giving out ! Why all the sudden ? Smh Ford !
So I’ll keep y’all updated !

To sum all this up

The problem is the catalyst converter (right one) so that was changed ! Also for the overheating transmission ...... the oil level should be 1/4 inch below mark , as that’s how is comes new when shipped transmission ! Never put it to the line ! It will expand and explode all over like it did to me last week ! .....ACTIVE EXHAUST? Fix ! Pull the fuse , weld it open , pull the plugs, and delete the code ! I have no check engine light ! That pretty much sums up everybody’s issues on this site

I have some pictures for you guys as well! This part for Ford to fix cost 1000$ out of pocket if you have 60k and above factory warranty ! 150k extended will not fix ! So I welded the butterfly open. 40$ in both and pull the fuse it’s gone ! Next upgrade will be the steeda axel back paired with x pipe from Ford
Ask me anything I’ll tell you , I think I been through it all since zero miles

Eventually this part will give out and the butter fly valves will close ! If u apply pressure on the gas this will blow the welds off ! If you instal an x pipe h pipe this will determine where the wires will touch, and to begin to splice ! You have to measure and cut right or your wires will be pressed against the sharp edge of metal ! Towing...they might have the wrong bed and scrap your back end causing the wiring harness to break ! Be aware of that ! Honestly I love my car loud I would not recommend this active exhaust to anyone ! Steeda is coming steeda has done so righteous to me include the steeda stop the hop kit !!!!!JLT with a tune is coming as well !

Ps don’t forget to tell the dealer to drain the transmission oil about a 1/4 so you won’t over heat going 60 miles ! ...I don’t over heat anymore ! And the catalyst converter is the idle issue and shut off ! ....I’m assuming when u hear back fire in your exhaust something might be dirty and clogged ! I experienced that before the idle issue ! Get new catalyst x2
