Any ideas why it is referencing the 289? 11:17:11? or 22.1?

But seriously, maybe 755 ft lbs? sounds about right for a ford DOHC V8 with 800hp

Perhaps 289 is the number of days until availability? That would put it around 9/25 or so from the date of the leaked pic. Just a thought.

The photo of the cluster was released in mid january when the 2018 was revealed. 289 days from then would have been about 2 months ago. Time from the leaked photo wouldn't make too much sense because it wasn't a planned leak

and the 22.1MPG is a reference to the top speed, 221MPH. Although that does seem a bit high to me.

I am probably way off here, but thought I would just throw it out there and see what others think.

ahh....ok then. maybe it means 289 days post announcement on 1/12/18 for availability. That would put it at 11/3, although that seems a little late in the year.

11.17 seems slow for a GT500 when a GT with e85 tune, and tires will do like 11.3

Is the Gt500 really getting a dual clutch like the homepage description says? I thought that was just a rumor.

Why would the gt500 come out in 2019 when there is a major refresh is in 2020?

Also, wasn't the 289 an original engine size for the early Mustangs? Double meaning somewhere?
