It was 2016 track pack with michelin tires. I did drive a 2018 with continental tire it was day and night difference. Continental was way smoother.
My 2018 has the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I did not know Continentals were a factory option on our cars.

295/35ZR19's, right?

I swapped my SC2's at less than 200 miles and have been running the MPSS ever since.

Got the BMW-spec 104Y up front and the standard 102Y in the back.

9000 miles on them and they look, ride, and handle great!

I would spring for an alignment when you get the new rubber on - lots of these cars show up knocked out of alignment and then you just eat up your tires.
I'm doing 275 up front. Yes I agree on the alignment I'm going to have it checked.

Running skinnier, and less sticky tires will help the tramlining. That's most of it. Running a less aggressive alignment will help as well. The GT350 is a track car... Some compromises need to be made. Just learn to embrace it. It's a responsive vehicle.
I feel like it’s more alignment as my current car has wider and stickier tires and no tramlining. Neither the GY SC3R or the MP4S tramline on my ZLE. Sizes are 305/30/10 and 325/30/19.

I agree its no big deal, just better be paying attention lol.

What alignment works best ? More Negative camber help at all? On a lighter side I love tramlining as it keeps me from texting!

I have factory setup Cup2s 295 front and 305 rear on my 2019 GT350. Love these tires, I can push car around the corners harder than on any other tires. Tramlining occurs only on bad roads and when driving on sport mode.

I wish i knew...never had my 350 aligned, like you said, it kept me from driving and texting lol.

I know a loss of caster on a jeep jk is huge in terms of “darty” steering, but that likely doesn’t apply here. My ZLE didn’t tramline from the factory, and still doesn’t do it riding around in track alignment with more neg camber.

I think they do. And it's nice seeing some tread. The front tires have over 9000 miles on them (just took these a few minutes ago)...

Agree. I will try increasing tire pressure to 39 on the street which someone said really helped

Increasing pressure is going to reduce grip. Are you running the Cup 2's? Have you checked the alignment recently?

My theory is that the tramlining has a lot to do with geometry and the scrub radius. Something tells me the Camaro has different geometry/scrub and that could be why it doesn't tramline as much as the 350 does. I do know the 350 has been praised for it's steering feel and feedback. Under the right conditions this could go hand-in-hand with why it tramlines more. Sticky tires that grab at the road also makes this worse.

Yes. A sports car like this with sensitive steering feel is definitely a two hands on the wheel situation lol. I guess there's pros and cons. The pro imo is it can lead to more engaging driving experience? The con is maybe it gets a little annoying after awhile. I have a Mustang GT and running summer tires and an aggressive street alignment it tramlines like a MF'er. Now running skinner, all season tires and it tramlines much less even with aggressive front camber.

My GT has always tramlined some. Stiffer suspension, wider tires, and more aggressive alignment plus changes in wheel offsets - ALL made it tramline more. But yeah, just gotta be paying attention.

Again my theory is the Mustangs have geometry and scrub radius such that lends to better steering feel but also more tramlining.

Just did the same swap, except I went with the 2018 spec 100Y up front. I'm not gonna track it on these tires.
Sucks that Michelin won't make the PS4S in 305's

I just bought my 19 with Cup 2’s standard. I understand the sticky thing and it’s relationship to tramlineing or tracking. I am also talking about street use so I am not worried about a small amount of lost grip. It certainly makes you pay attention.
