Looks like FPB with black stripes, black roof and Recaro's are not at all common. NICE

That being said, FPB is the most common 2019 GT350 color which doesn't seem to jive based on this site...

FPB was my first choice but I’ll be darned if I could have found one within a reasonable distance/price.

Has anyone been following all the years? Was 2019 more cars than other years? It seems like there really isn't that many of them considering....

Although it doesn’t give us the exact combination, that’s pretty cool.
Ex: My Magnetic with Kona stripes says 32 cars. What I don’t know is how many of those has a black roof and carbon dash.
Having one of only 32 in the USA is somewhat special. The odds of running into another one are very, very low.
If you're in California you'll find me! haha

I have a Magnetic with Kona Blue stripes as well. Stripes are over the roof with the carbon dash. Tech package. K2009. Have never seen another one in person.

Could be the answer to the question why they stopped production. I’m of the belief that something will continue to be produced if there is a profit to be had. Updated and improved upon but continue production.
That said, meeting emission standards doesn‘t always work in the manufactures favor as someone already pointed out in previous posts.

These numbers have nothing to do with why Ford stopped production. Ford said early on it was a limited run for the GT350. We can consider the GT350 lucky as usually Ford's specials are 2 year runs.

I’ll take your word on that but.....
Any manufacturer is in business to make money. Why did Ford “extend” to three times the usual runs?
I won’t get into a “I know I’m right conversation”, I doubt any of us know for sure as we never get 100% solid information from top brass, it’s always hype to sell cars.
Plenty on this forum speculate as to why. Unless you have a seat at that very special table, face it, you really don’t know. You just know what they want you to know.
Again, if there were ways to continue to make money manufacturing X, they would.

Maybe thy were matching the first generation 6 year run with a 2nd generation 6 year run?

The end of this cycle of Shelby GT350/R was planned. It is not the result of sales, or market acceptance. Ford has a licensing agreement with Shelby to produce a specific window for the current cycle. It was intended to have a short overlap of the GT350 and GT500.

Where there were variances to the original plan of how many model years and how man units include:

1. When the GT500 would be launched, extending the model year life of the GT350.
2. Model Year 2019 GT350 was stalled and interrupted by parts availability and likely affected planned volume of units.
3. Model Year 2020 - COVID
4. Fords upheaval in CEO (again), management restructuring compounded with COVID impacts
5. Shift in focus for the next gen Mustang
6. Managing the end of Bullitt license and introduction of Mach 1 in the lineup

and likely more that I have not read in the industry press.

Likely a Ford produced Shelby model will return after a break (as it has done before). I speculate it may or not be a Mustang variant (perhaps an F150 variant), combustion engine, hybrid or EV? Shelby American needs Fords exposure of the Shelby name with a mass produced product. That keeps the Shelby name relevant in the market and permits Shelby American to focus on hand modified variants of cars and trucks.
