2019 GT Convertible / 61 Days from Special Order to Delivery

I ordered my 2019 Mustang GT Convertible Thursday August 23, 2018. At the time I ordered I knew that the Magne-Ride suspension and 401A Package could hold up the build process as they are limited availability options. I expected to get my VIN in November with an early 2019 delivery. The very next Thursday I received my VIN from Ford. The process happened pretty quickly from there. The car wasn't scheduled to be delivered to my dealer until one day next week. I was able to coordinate with my dealer and went to the rail yard in ATL to pick the car up there.

I cant help but wonder it the A-Plan Order gave my order priority or if it was one of the carefully placed phone calls to people that know people did it.

I took the car straight to my buddy at Glasslife Atlanta for paint protection film and ceramic coating. I get to pick it up from him next Tuesday.

What exactly are you getting done in terms of Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Coating? I’d be very interested to know what PPF product you are going with, how much of the car will get wrapped, also same for Ceramic.
Lastly, Congratulations on the new Mustang!!! A very nice build. That color looks soooooo sharp, esp. with convertible.
